Eric Reitz
Eric is a psychotherapist and existential sherpa who specializes in treating obsessive-compulsive disorder, anxiety-related chaos, and the vertigo of being half-mammal, half-overthinker. Drawing on clinical science, stoic grit, and his own labyrinthine struggles with OCD, he helps clients navigate life’s liminal spaces—where dread collides with meaning, and “figuring it out” is less important than learning to build campfires in the mess. When not therapizing, he’s eavesdropping on Kierkegaard’s ghost, running asphalt trails to outpace his inner monologue, or reminding anyone who’ll listen that humans are the only species who turn existential dread into a spreadsheet. He lives in Richmond, Virginia, with his wife and two children, who’ve mastered the art of responding to his dad jokes with just the right balance of silence and sighs
